Maria del Carmen Bella Hernández is working as Pre-Asset Development Manager in Ørsted, Danish renewable company. She got her degree in Industrial Engineering at Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros Industriales de la Universidad Politécnica de Valencia. Carmen joined Ørsted back in 2015 and worked as an Export Cable Engineer for four years looking after the supply and the termination works of the high voltage cables that connect the Offshore Substations with the Onshore Substation enabling the power to be transmitted from the offshore wind farm to land. Carmen has experience working at onshore and offshore construction sites, as well as on installation vessels. Currently she has a position as Pre-asset Development Manager, where her main task is to manage offshore wind projects and its teams in early stages. Driving these projects through the feasibility and maturation phase together with a multidisciplinary team.
